I’m so happy that “Coffee & Cream” (60″x60″) won Honorable Mention for Innovation at the Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara, CA. I love this quilt and the process of making it.
I learned the technique of the “Biscotti Quilt” from Brandon Wulff (@justanotherautisticguy) earlier in the year. To test out the technique, I used brown/black/beige/gray colors that I had on hand that departed from my usual quilt color bombs. I’m so happy I did – it’s fun to test out something and have it turn into a surprise.
