One of the joys of my quilting life is participating in quilt guilds and in quilting groups. In 2022, I joined with several other talented quilters to form San Francisco Sew & Sews. Every 6 weeks or so, we take turns providing a creative prompt to the group. Each member comes back to provide her blocks to the ‘prompters’ who will take those blocks and turn them into a quilt. The person whose prompt it was has the creative freedom to do whatever they want with the blocks – How to arrange them into a quilt? Use all the blocks or just some? Cut them up? It’s the prompter’s choice.
Here are the talented ladies of San Francisco Sew & Sews and their Instagram handles. Check them out!
