2017, W75″x H87″, Repurposed denim, Machine pieced, machine appliqué

The idea for this quilt started in January 2017 at the first Women’s March.  Inspired, I collected phrases and ideas that I saw at protests and online that spoke to me. The phrases here represent what America is to me – a vision of allies always working towards hope, justice, freedom, truth and opportunity for all. I am an American. I am an American Patriot.
